So you want to learn a bit about disc
golf? Well first let's assume you're in Minnesota. Did you
know there are 52 Professional Disc Golf Association
(PDGA) approved courses in Minnesota? There are! And there
are many unofficial courses out there too. Your own back
yard can become a disc golf course in mere minutes. The

Take part in one of the fastest growing
sports worldwide. The number of disc golf courses in the Twin Cities area is
up to 18. Minnesota is 4th in the country with 57 disc
golf courses. To be beaten by Iowa with 62, California with 71 and Texas
with 93. The US as a whole has 1071 courses as of June of
2003.
All other countries of the world have a total of 224
courses with Sweden at 58, Canada at 37and Japan at 36,
Switzerland at 20 ,Finland at 17, New Zealand and England
with 10.
